ABOUT LAURA D'ORSI
Laura M. D’Orsi has been practicing law for nearly 13 years and was admitted to the bar in 1990. Her practice has focused on the field of matrimonial law during the majority of that time. Ms. D’Orsi is certified as a family law mediator by the Administrative Office of the Courts and has served as a matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist in Essex County. Ms. D’Orsi is a member of the Jersey Shore Collaborative Law Group. Ms. D’Orsi attended Lehigh University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Emory University School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. Ms. D’Orsi is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars.
Prior to joining the practice with Mr. Patti, Ms. D’Orsi worked with a preeminent New Jersey matrimonial practitioner for a period of 6 ½ years and worked for the Washington, D.C. office of Thelen Reid & Priest, LLP for a period of 6 years. Ms. D’Orsi grew up in Monmouth County and is active in her community. In the past, Ms. D’Orsi was the President of an advocacy group for battered woman, and helped to establish and run a battered woman’s shelter.
